I did go out to the parking garage and called and was told there are no rooms available so at this point I felt extremely extorted even thought I chose to pass the principle of the issue is THEY LIE. I’m not wealthy so I passed because these are the same rooms they give away for free, you see I obviously do not spend enough money gambling in the casino, as in I haven’t lost all my inheritance or my house or my children’s college money there so I’m not worthy of a room so I don’t drive and drive.

So I was told to wait to see if they had any availability so the girl came back and said her manager said if I had two hundred dollars for a room they could get me one. I was looking to enjoy myself by having some adult beverages and just wanted a safe place to stay. River City Casino is attached to a hotel and several restaurants which I have reviewed separately.I’m a city local I was looking to get a room and drove over to river city to spend the night gambling in the casino. Security guards at entrances are very friendly and welcoming. Within the bar / lounge area, the noise is at a minimum which is really very nice.

Comfortable chairs and video poker machines at the bar, along with a friendly bartender, make for a nice evening. There is a bar / lounge area that is quite nice. Poker tournaments are available and are quite inexpensive. River City has a live poker room with approximately twelve tables. During my three day stay, I did not see any slot attendants at all.

Table games dealers were very friendly as were the pit supervisors. Self serve water, soda and coffee are available in more than one location. Temperature varies depending on where you are within the casino. Smoking is allowed but unless someone is smoking very close to you, the ventilation system works well and you do not leave there smelling of heavy smoke.
